John Schneider	Jack Kincaid - 37. Self-assured, han dsome, and always in control. Prototype for a new generation, one that mastered their universe, pulling the levers of corporate takeovers and acquisitions. And making a great living along the way. He did it for his wife and kids, for God, and for America even. But while Jack is seemingly living life with a firm grasp of his destiny he quickly finds himself losing the things he believed were aligned with him and his dream.
Eric Lange	Sean Murphy - 39. The guy who has lived his life as a dreamer and a schemer. “Murph” has followed his heart and lived for the moment, somehow making a small fortune by stumbling upon an internet scam (perhaps we should say, a “movement”). But Murph has been restless ever since best friend Jack disrupted life’s plan by getting married - to Murph’s sister, no less.! He’s looking for a way to bring some sense of reconciliation to make good things happen for a lot of people. Murph has a better sense than anyone in the world what ‘cool’ is - and he knows he can return his friend to that place. It’s just a matter of time. And a few more schemes.
Jessica Tuck	Keri Kincaid - 37. Jack’s recent ex-wife and Sean Murphy’s sister. Pretty and perfect. Keri is tired...tired of Jack’s selfrighteousness, tired of playing handmaid to the American Dream her ex-husband was trying to live, tired of everything to the point she manipulates the divorce decree to get herself and her kids to the island. She thinks she has pulled a fast one, but she quickly finds herself immersed in a continuing battle of control of family, children, and their lives away from the mainland.
Tessie Santiago	Jennifer Calderon - 29. Beautiful local woman, naturally, casually pretty. Jennifer has a quick wit and a great sense of humor. She’s the daughter of the distinguished Estabon Calderon, owner of the local hotel. Jennifer works for her father and quickly becomes Jack’s love interest.
Aris Alvarado	Manny - 25. The island philosopher. Happy-go-lucky local proprietor of golf carts, bar back at Luau Larry’s, and philosopher of his home-grown brand of wisdom. Charismatic, likeable, and the best possible ambassador for the good karma that exists in island life.
Hannah Leigh Dworkin	Emma Kincaid - 11. Great kid; energetic, practical, inquisitive, and an inch away from being the long lost Brady sister. Loves her mom and her dad and loves to tease her older brother. Considers the move to Catalina an adventure.
Jordan Garrett	Walt Kincaid - 16. The family’s move to Catalina may as well have been to Alcatraz. Good kid and good athlete, but brooding and, as teenagers typically do, sees life as incredibly unfair. Walt feels doomed as an exile away from his friends, school, and the good life in Malibu.
Tony Amendola	Estabon Calderon - 55, a distinguished Mexican gentlemen in a linen suit and a Panama hat. Senor Calderon owns The Tempest Inn, a local hotel. Well-respected and admired by locals and the tourists alike, Estabon is a fixture as an island businessman, a protector of the island’s privacy and lifestyle.
